    Interpretive Guide at Dinosaur Ridge

Dinosaur Ridge is a non-profit outdoor museum and National Natural Landmark with over 250 dinosaur footprints and dozens of dinosaur bones still in place from the Mesozoic, the Age of the Dinosaurs. Our popular and successful interpretive education programs are led by volunteers like you!

Do you enjoy children, dinosaurs, outdoor education, teaching, and/or public speaking? Inspire students to be scientists as they observe, wonder, and learn about the unique fossils, and geology found at this National Natural Landmark. No background in geology or paleontology is required as in-depth training is provided.

Dinosaur Ridge interpretive guides assist with educational programs and tours focused on the lives and deaths of dinosaurs and the rock history of this amazing site. School tours/programs are conducted Sept-June on weekdays between 9am-3pm. During the summer, programs and tours are conducted for camps and adult groups. Weekend walking tours are offered to the public throughout the year.

Volunteer as as often as you would like, with a min. commitment of 3 months serving 8 hrs/month after completing training.
