    Description

Quantum Computing Research | Network Theory Applications

Join the Network Theory Applied Research Institute (NTARI) in amplifying groundbreaking research on quantum-enhanced community detection in complex networks! We're building on cutting-edge work from AWS Quantum Computing that uses hybrid quantum annealing to solve real-world network problems.

    What You'll Do:

    • Help communicate research on quantum annealing for community detection (fraud detection, social networks, marketing segmentation)
    • Support outreach for our white paper on quantum-enhanced network analysis and collective intelligence
    • Engage with communities interested in hybrid classical-quantum algorithms and Amazon Braket applications
    • Assist in creating accessible content about QUBO (Quadratic Unconstrained Binary Optimization) problems and their solutions

    Perfect For:

    • Students/professionals in quantum computing, network science, or optimization
    • Those interested in practical applications: fraud detection, social network analysis, anti-money laundering
    • Science communicators passionate about quantum technologies
    • Anyone excited about hybrid quantum-classical algorithms and their real-world impact

Why This Research Matters: Community detection in networks has immediate applications in healthcare (fraud detection), finance (anti-money laundering), and marketing (audience segmentation). Our work builds on demonstrated quantum advantages using D-Wave systems on Amazon Braket, showing how quantum annealing can outperform classical algorithms like Girvan-Newman for modularity optimization.

Time Commitment: Flexible remote opportunities - contribute to projects that match your interests and schedule.

Help us make quantum network analysis accessible to researchers, practitioners, and decision-makers who can apply these breakthrough methods to solve complex real-world problems!
