Description
Habitat for Humanity of Dane County is looking for cashiers to help at our east side ReStore!
Shift available 1-5pm on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. View shifts and sign up (will be marked as cashier training shifts) at https://habitatdane.volunteerhub.com/
Habitat ReStores are nonprofit home improvement stores and donation centers that sell new and gently used furniture, building materials and appliances at a fraction of the retail price.
Volunteer cashiers are needed to:
- Greet and interact with customers
- Operate a register
- Utilize the store paging system
- Maintain a safe, clean work environment
Requirements:
- Ability to stand for the majority of a 4-hour shift (with periodic breaks and a chair available at the register)
- Good customer service skills
