    Description

    We are looking for a volunteer to lead a weekend tour of Little Italty Mercato for our hostel guests!

    Local volunteers offer a unique insider’s perspective to our hostel guests. By leading walking tours, volunteers create the opportunity for hostellers to learn more about the historical and cultural relevance of the area and have a one on one encounter with a local expert.

    Ideally this tour would be Friday, Saturday or Sunday during the day.

    The benefits of volunteering with HI USA include:

    Meet new people from all over the world, including travelers, staff, and fellow volunteers

    Work to increase understanding and tolerance by helping people break down cultural barriers

    Help travelers to the community have a great travel experience

    Build skills in public speaking, foreign languages and intercultural communication

    Participate in fun appreciation events for local volunteers

    Receive personal and professional development opportunities

    Earn HI USA membership and dorm overnights at HI USA hostels
