Role Overview:

True Connection is looking for a skilled Article Editor & Copywriter with expertise in technical writing, fact-checking, and brand voice refinement to support our digital learning space, Resilient by Design. This role is perfect for someone who understands how to refine narratives, maintain a strong and consistent brand voice, and ensure accuracy through well-sourced citations.

As a key part of the editorial team, you’ll help polish articles, strengthen messaging, and verify sources to maintain credibility and impact. If you have experience in fact-checking, research, and brand-aligned content creation, this is an opportunity to help shape meaningful, well-researched content that aligns with True Connection’s mission.

Key Responsibilities:

• Edit and refine articles to ensure clarity, flow, and a compelling narrative.
• Maintain and enhance brand voice, ensuring all content aligns with True Connection’s tone: grounded, intelligent, and engaging.
• Vet and fact-check sources to ensure all claims are credible, properly cited, and in line with best research practices.
• Copywrite and strengthen messaging in articles, social media posts, and website content to ensure high readability and engagement.
• Ensure proper citation formatting and accuracy of references.
• Assist with brand storytelling, ensuring consistency across all written materials.
• Provide technical writing expertise, ensuring educational content is informative, well-structured, and accessible.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Experience in editing, copywriting, or technical writing (journalism, academia, nonprofit writing, or brand writing experience preferred).
• Strong understanding of proper citation practices and source verification.
• Ability to enhance brand voice while keeping content engaging and digestible.
• Skilled in fact-checking and research-based content creation.
• Attention to detail, clarity, and message consistency.
• Passion for interconnectedness, sustainability, and educational storytelling.
