Helping Women on Their Job Search Journey

We have several volunteer positions for our Job Search Program:

Job Search Open Lab Career Center

Engage and support a job search participant one-on-one to identify their next step in the job search journey. The volunteer will receive resources to assist in identifying the next steps needed. The shift is two hours with five ½ hour slots for each participant.

Job Search Teams Meeting

Lead a group hour-long session for Job Search participants to share information, ideas, and brainstorming strategies to land employment.

60-second Elevator Speech

Work with Job Search participants to help them make a professional introduction. Listen and provide feedback on elevator speeches. Presentation materials provided.

Lasting Impressions

A group two-hour workshop held once a month. Guide women in reflecting on their recent job search experiences to discover ways to make a stronger, more positive impact on potential employers.
