    Join the dedicated team at the Florida Lions Eye Clinic (FLLEC), a nonprofit organization committed to improving the lives of underserved individuals in our community. By providing free, comprehensive vision care, FLLEC makes a lasting impact on the lives of children and adults who otherwise would not have access to essential eye care. As a volunteer ophthalmologist, you will play a crucial role in our mission while enjoying the flexibility to create your own schedule.

    Requirements and Benefits

    Volunteer ophthalmologists must hold an active medical license in the United States. Additionally, Florida requires a Limited License for volunteer doctors. FLLEC will guide you through the licensing process, including obtaining Sovereign Immunity, which protects volunteer physicians from liability while serving. This opportunity allows you to give back to the community on your terms, with the flexibility to align your volunteer schedule with your availability.
