Inspire and Heal: Volunteer for Art Therapy Sessions

The Fairfax-Falls Church Community Services Board (CSB)* is looking for a volunteer to lead art therapy sessions, helping community members express themselves creatively while finding relaxation and emotional support. Your guidance can make a profound difference in the lives of those who may benefit from artistic self-expression.

Responsibilities:

• Lead engaging, supportive art therapy sessions for individuals or small groups.
• Provide a safe and welcoming environment that encourages creativity and self-expression.
• Adapt activities to meet the diverse needs of participants.

Ideal Skills:

• Required: Master's degree in Art Therapy with acheived credentialling.
• Background in art therapy, psychology, social work, or counseling.
• Compassionate, patient, and a good listener with a passion for helping others.
• Ability to adapt art activities for varying levels of skill and comfort.
