    About Martha's Table:

    Martha's Table is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting children, strong families, and strong communities in Washington, DC. We believe in supporting our community by increasing access to education, healthy food, and family resources.

    Position Summary:

    Martha's Table is seeking a talented and dedicated volunteer Film Maker/Video Editor to produce five engaging and informative orientation videos for our new volunteers. These videos will play a crucial role in onboarding new volunteers, ensuring they understand our mission, values, and procedures, and feel prepared to contribute meaningfully to our programs.

    Responsibilities:

    • Edit raw footage (provided by Martha's Table) into five cohesive and high-quality orientation videos.

    • Incorporate provided branding elements, music, and voiceovers (if applicable).

    • Add text overlays, graphics, and animations as needed to enhance clarity and engagement.

    • Ensure videos are accessible and meet our communication guidelines.

    • Collaborate with Martha's Table staff to review drafts and incorporate feedback.

    • Deliver final videos in agreed-upon formats suitable for online platforms.

    Qualifications:

    • Proven experience in video editing, with a strong portfolio showcasing previous work.

    • Proficiency with video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro).

    • Strong understanding of video production principles, including pacing, storytelling, and visual aesthetics.

    • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

    • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

    • A passion for community service and alignment with Martha's Table's mission.
