    Commitment Details:
    Shifts are Monday - Friday from 9 am - 9 pm in 3 hour blocks. Sunday, shifts are from 3 pm - 9 pm in 3 hour blocks. There are no Saturday shifts.

    Description

    Front Desk Support at Ronald McDonald House

    The Front Desk Support Volunteer will be responsible for providing

    efficient and welcoming customer service to guests and visitors at the Ronald McDonald House.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Greet visitors, guests, and families in a warm and friendly manner
    • Check-in visitors who are coming for meetings, Adopt-a-meal preparation, other

      functions related to house operations

    • Document daily heath checks for families staying at the house
    • Receive in-kind and monetary donations and issue proper documentation to the donor

      to ensure the transaction is properly recorded

    • Respond to inquiries and provide information about RMHC programs and services
    • Maintain accurate records and update guest information relative to health protocols
    • Assist with various administrative tasks as needed
    • Ensure a clean and organized front desk area
    • Follow established policies and procedures
    • Provide exceptional customer service to all families and visitors

    Requirements:

    • Ability to commit to a minimum of one, 3 hour shift per month
    • High school diploma or equivalent, preferred
    • Excellent communication skills
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
    • Strong organizational and time-management skills
    • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
    • Basic computer skills and familiarity with office equipment
    • Passion for serving others, specifically families who are in need
