    Community Liaison Team volunteers would require some familiarity with the ACHA/Ten Broeck Mansion and their programs. All ACHA volunteers agree to participate in training and follow the ACHA Code of Ethics/Volunteer Agreement.

    Description

    Community Liaison Team

    Our community liaison team helps us get the word out about the Albany County Historical Association/Ten Broeck Mansion and promote its programming at outreach events around the Capital District. In the past, our volunteers have helped at the Palace Theater free movie events, APD pop-up barbecues, and more!

    This position would be great for volunteers who are outgoing, very comfortable with public speaking, and enjoy interacting with the public. This position may require volunteering in outdoor venues (please dress accordingly) and setting up tents and tables.

    Community Liaison Members help set up our table displays and tents/tables as needed, provide information about Ten Broeck Mansion programs, and encourage visitors to sign up as members or for our enewsletter. This helps get our name out to new visitors!
