Digital Communications & Outreach Volunteer Opportunity

Remote • Part-time • 10 hrs/week • 8-week minimum (option to extend)

Boost your portfolio while changing lives. Veterans United Aid, a Los Angeles-based IRS verified 501(c)(3) (EIN # 93-4675501) helping war veterans with mental wellness, career counseling, housing, and businesses. We are launching a digital outreach team and we’re looking for talented word-and-media heroes to join us from anywhere. Let’s work together and directly support veterans’ successful transition to civilian life.

What you’ll do (choose any or combine)

• • Write blog posts & short articles that spotlight veteran stories
  • Design eye-catching newsletters in Canva.
  • Edit & post short-form videos on social media.
  • Boost SEO by updating website copy and keyword tags.
  • Outreach Calls by doing a small & simple survey/assessment regarding AI and Business.

Ideal Candidate

• • Clear, confident written & spoken English.
  • Comfortable with Google Workspace; Canva or similar platforms & Zoom.
  • Young adults & adults of all backgrounds welcome—students, career-switchers, military family members, etc.

  • Flexible: 100 % virtual; set your own schedule. ~10 hrs/week for an initial 8-week term (option to extend).
