Inspire High Schoolers! Share Your Career Journey in a Professionals Panel!

TAF@Saghalie is a unique 6th-12th grade public school in Federal Way, Washington, where we prepare our students for postsecondary success through STEM-centered project-based learning. We are a diverse community of 575 scholars and educators in Federal Way, Washington. Learn more about TAF and our education model for social change and educational equity for students of color in Washington State at www.techaccess.org.

The Leave 2 Learn program prepares TAF@Saghalie high school students for STEM and other high-growth careers by connecting them with industry experts to explore potential pathways through research, interviews, job shadows, and internships. This panel is a part of the September: “Rush Week” immersive experience for new high school students and includes panels and workshops, led by volunteer industry professionals and TAF staff, on a range of postsecondary and career awareness skills and knowledge. Students will then create mission and vision statements, complete skill assessments, and identify careers they would like to explore this school year.

We are looking for volunteers to take part in a panel and share their career journey, educational background, and professional experience. Inspire the next generation to consider careers in STEM!
