    Nonprofit Management Internship (Unpaid)

    ** Due to our insurance limitations, we are only able to support volunteers in North America over the age of 18.

    NONPROFIT MANAGEMENT INTERN (UNPAID)

    The mission of Courage to Caregivers is to provide hope, support, and courage to caregivers and loved ones of those living with mental illness.

    Our non-profit launched in November 2018 with three signature programs. We’re looking for dynamic, enthusiastic team members to join us. This is an exciting opportunity for you to partner with a growing organization and to contribute to our success. If you have a professional, positive attitude with a growth mindset and entrepreneurial spirit, read on.

    The competencies that we are looking for in this position are planning and organizing, results orientation, communication, prioritizing and problem solving. This is an unpaid internship with anticipated need for 15-20 hours each week. Hours are flexible based on your needs and the needs of the organization.

    Responsibilities

    The Nonprofit Management Intern will report directly to the Executive Director and will work collaboratively with the Director of Programs to provide:

    • General Nonprofit Support
      • Grants process - research, writing
      • Strategic planning
      • Social media development
      • Special event fundraising
      • Streamlining of technology

    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Unwavering commitment to quality programs
    • Highly organized, proficient in Microsoft Office programs and ability to learn new technological applications
    • Professional, positive attitude with a growth mindset and entrepreneurial spirit
    • Passion, integrity, mission-driven and self-directed
