    Are you looking for a meaningful way to travel this summer? Join Trama Textiles in Quetzaltenango (Xela), Guatemala, and support a collective of indigenous women preserving the ancient art of backstrap weaving.

    As a volunteer, you’ll:

    Help promote ethical, slow fashion

    Work directly with our artisan cooperative

    Immerse yourself in Mayan culture and Spanish language

    Live in a vibrant, welcoming community in the Guatemalan highlands

    We offer an authentic cultural exchange, and your time directly supports the economic empowerment of women artisans.
