    Description

F.O.U.N.D. is a nonprofit supporting people navigating life’s "pauses" - moments of change due to relocation, visa status, caregiving, or personal transitions. Our mission is to offer care-based, multilingual, and community-rooted support.

We’re seeking passionate Volunteer Grant Writers with some prior grant writing or related experience to help us grow our impact and bring essential programs to more people.

    What you'll do

As a volunteer grant writer, you’ll work closely with our small, dedicated team to:

    • Research and vet grant opportunities to assess eligibility and alignment with our mission
    • Draft, edit, and finalize compelling proposals and supporting documents
    • Collaborate with the grant writing team and organizational leaders throughout the application timeline
    • Assist with submission, tracking, and reporting requirements

    What You’ll Gain

    • Hands-on experience writing and submitting nonprofit grants from start to finish
    • Mentorship and collaboration with experienced fundraisers and nonprofit leaders
    • Resume-building skills and letters of recommendation
    • A chance to be part of a mission-driven, compassionate team
    • Fully-remote opportunity

    What We're Looking For

    • You have some prior experience in grant writing, nonprofit development, or similar writing/research-based work
    • Strong research, writing, and organizational skills
    • Comfortable collaborating with a team and following a structured process
    • Familiarity with Notion is a plus (we use it to manage projects and workflows)
    • Alignment with our mission is a bonus, but not required
    • 6-month, 1-year, or project-based commitment
