Volunteer to be a Host Family for a High School Exchange Student

Looking for warm and caring families with an interest in learning new cultures. Seeking volunteer host families for International Exchange Students!

By getting involved as a host family with ASSE International Student Exchange Programs, you will be making a difference in the world - one young person at a time. As a host family you will gain a new son or daughter not just for the school year but for life. Students stay with their host family for a semester or full school year. Our studnets come with their own spending money and health insurance and attend the public high school the host family is zoned for. Host families provide their students with 3 meals a day, transportation (students can take the bus to school), and a bed. Students can share a room with like a child of the same gender and within 3 years of age. Students and families have a local representative that ovesees their placement and provides monthly support.
