    Description

Gain experience in Mental Health as a Residential Adviser in the Boston area!

The Fellside residence is a part of Gould Farm, a therapeutic community located in the Berkshires that serves people with mental health challenges. Fellside is a transitional program that provides both residential and non-residential services in Medford and the Boston area. As a part of the team, you will have a chance to be a part of a progressive mental health recovery program that values community living and holistic healing. Some of our residential volunteers have an interest in eventually pursuing a graduate degree in social work, nonprofit sector or other related field. This position provides an opportunity to gain valuable experience.

Volunteers support residents in acquiring life skills that will help them transition towards independent living. Working alongside residents, volunteers contribute their strengths to the Fellside community through wellness and life skills coaching, cooking, arts and crafts, music, yoga, fitness, gardening, administration, and more. Volunteers generally commit to a one year term of service and receive room and board (shared apartment, utilities, food, and parking), full medical insurance, and a bi-weekly stipend.

Volunteers who commit to a one-year assignment receive room and board, medical insurance, and a bi-weekly stipend.
