    Description

Clarke Beach Park- Volunteer Park Clean-Up!

Help us prepare Clarke Beach Park for Arbor Day!

In just one month, we’re going to be planting a couple hundred of native plants in Clarke Beach Park. But we need some help getting the site ready before that can happen. At this event you can expect to clear back ivy regrowth, remove bindweed, creeping buttercup, and blackberries. And then come back next month to help us plant and spread mulch!

Please note: we require participants aged 14 and under to volunteer with a parent or guardian at a ratio of 1 adult to 3 kids.

    When: Saturday, September 20th, 10am-1pm

    Where: Clarke Beach Park.

What to bring: Dress for the weather in clothes you don’t mind getting dirty (think: long pants, boots or sneakers). Bring water. Small snacks, gloves, and tools will be provided.
