    Description

    Help Us Mentor STEM Students

We’re looking for passionate tech professionals to help us design a mentorship program for highschool and early college students.

This is a virtual, low-commitment advisor role to talk about how you and your company engage with students and early career professonals. We want to learn from you about the best ways to create more career opportunites for students.

    What You’ll Do:

    • Join a 1 hour interview to talk about how your software, technology or engineering company involves, or could involve, students in internships or apprenticeships

    Who We're Looking For:

    • Programmers, engineers, scientists
    • Interest in early career education
    • No prior teaching experience required
    • Enthusiastic and encouraging!

    Why It Matters:

Most students don’t have real job experience, or any interaction with professionals, until after they graduate. Your help in creating new internship and apprenticeship programs will expand STEM job acess and advance their careers.
