    Description

    LOST DOG TEAM POSITIONS

    Lost Dog Team Regional Coordinator

    Team Description: This team is responsible for assisting in the recovery of lost dogs that are fostered by or adopted from Angels Among Us Pet Rescue.

    Position Title: Regional Coordinator

    Position Description: Volunteer goes to lost dog locations and assists foster or adopters with setting up cameras & traps, creating scent trails, and posting on NextDoor & lost sites, while providing support with direction from the Lost Dog Team lead.

    Qualifications for Position: Flexible schedule, excellent communication skills, patience, kindness, reliable transportation, experience NOT needed, we can teach the basics. Successful completion of on-line training certification from Maddie’s Fund, Volunteers must have the physical ability to walk in/on different terrains and in different types of weather conditions.

    Availability needed: Varies (only when a dog is lost in the area)

    Lost Dog Team Local Search Volunteer

    Team Description: This team is responsible for assisting in the recovery of lost dogs that are fostered by or adopted from Angels Among Us Pet Rescue.

    Position Title: Local Search Volunteer

    Position Description: When dogs are lost in the area, the volunteer assists the lost dog team as needed/directed by putting out signs, walking around to generate sightings, resetting traps, etc.

    Qualifications for Position: Transportation, Successful completion of on-line training certification from Maddie’s Fund, Volunteers must have the physical ability to walk in/on different terrains and in different types of weather conditions, Ability to walk, sit or stand for extended periods of time if necessary.

    Availability needed: Varies (only when a dog is lost in the area and timing can be worked around volunteer's schedule)
