    About The Funding Studio

    The Funding Studio is a nonprofit organization that provides fiscal sponsorship and fundraising support for artists, filmmakers, cultural centers, and social innovators. We help mission-driven creatives access philanthropic funding, offering the structure and support they need to launch and sustain their work.

    Our goal is to build a more equitable and sustainable creative economy by removing barriers to funding and providing the tools and infrastructure that allow creative professionals to thrive.

    Opportunity

    The Funding Studio is seeking board members who are passionate about storytelling, community impact, and building long-term support systems for creative work. As we continue to grow nationally, we are assembling a board with the expertise and vision to guide our next phase of development.

    We are especially interested in individuals with experience in:

    • Philanthropy or nonprofit fundraising
    • Film, media, or arts administration
    • Legal or financial oversight
    • Strategic partnerships and business development
    • Communications, branding, or public relations
    • Social innovation and entrepreneurship

    Roles & Responsibilities

    • Provide strategic guidance and fiduciary oversight
    • Support fundraising efforts and donor relationship development
    • Help expand awareness and grow organizational visibility
    • Attend quarterly board meetings (via Zoom)
    • Serve on at least one committee or working group
    • Make a personally meaningful annual financial contribution
    • Act as a connector and ambassador for The Funding Studio
