Role Summary:
We are seeking a passionate and creative Social Media & Communications Volunteer to support our digital outreach. In this role, you will help manage our social media platforms, share stories from the field, and increase visibility for our programs and campaigns.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, create, and schedule engaging posts across Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn
- Share updates, success stories, and impact highlights from our schools and programs
- Design basic graphics using tools like Canva
- Respond to comments and messages in a timely, professional manner
- Collaborate with program teams to gather content and success stories
- Monitor performance and suggest ways to grow audience engagement
- Support digital campaigns, fundraising efforts, and awareness days
Qualifications:
- Experience managing social media accounts (personal or professional)
- Strong writing, editing, and communication skills
- Familiarity with Canva or other basic design tools
- Organized, self-motivated, and reliable
- A passion for education, storytelling, and community development
- Access to a stable internet connection
