    Description

    Do you have a caring heart and desire to bring comfort to others? We are seeking compassionate individuals to serve as Hospice Companion Volunteers.

    As a volunteer, you will visist patients facing life-limiting illnessness to provide emotional support and companionship. Your presence can make a world of difference---offering comfort, reducing lonliness, and creating moments of joy.

    Volunteer activities may include:

    • Engaging in conversation and active listening
    • Reading aloud, playing music, or sharing hobbies
    • Sitting quietly as a comforting presence
    • Offering respite to family caregivers

    Time Commitment: Flexible scheduling---visits are typically 1-2 hours per week, based on your availibility.

    Training & Support: All volunteers reciece comprehensive hospice training and ongoing support from our care team. No medical experience is required.
