    Description

Art with Children at Shelter (Fridays)

You don't need to be an artist to volunteer in this opportunity!

We are a nonprofit organization that helps impoverished children realize their dreams through the use of art. They can be anything they want to be! Dedicate a few hours to help children express themselves through the use of art! We are at the Coalition on Friday afternoons at 3:30 pm. We would love it if you could dedicate every other week on Friday afternoon! We do art therapy-based programming with them to have fun and create with us while forgetting their daily stresses. We focus on empowerment-using only nice words and collaboration. It's so much fun and full of positivity! We bring all the supplies, you come to hang out and help them with the activity!

We are looking for volunteers over 18.

Please fill out our volunteer application at drawchange.org/volunteerapp - that's the first step!

    Thank you in advance!
