    Description

Are you an outgoing, positive, customer service oriented person looking for a fun volunteer assignment?

We are looking for an adult (21+) to help run our high school volunteer weekend program. Openings are on Saturdays and Sundays: 9 AM - 12 PM, 12 PM - 3 PM (or similar).

As a "supervisor", you would be stationed in the Volunteer Department and would be in charge of supporting volunteers on the weekend, from high school to adults. You would keep the volunteer office open and welcome volunteer questions, but also round on volunteers throughout the hospital. This will involve moving throughout the hospital to include elevators and stairs. For this reason, you must be able to self-ambulate.

Join us to support our mission at Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center: Partnering with our communities to build and sustain a healthier New Jersey.

Our required commitment is 1 year or more, with a regular schedule consisting of at least one shift per weekend, minimum 3 hours. Prospective volunteers will need to complete an interview and application process including comprehensive medical clearance, background check, and drug screening.
