    Description

We are looking for an individual with a mind for marketing to join our team to help make more people become aware of our great nonprofit websites. This is telecommute so you can be anywhere. You can also do the work days and or nights ... and weekdays and or weekends. Our cutting-edge sites help nonprofits and their supporters raise money and raise awareness for their causes. Links to some of them are below.

This is an intermediate to advanced level role and requires at least several years of full-time paid marketing experience. You will be doing real work that directly brings our websites to more people and supports our nonprofit's mission to help the world.

The marketing work will probably include things such as: a) Designing, implementing and managing ad campaigns on Google and LinkedIn. b) Helping to create and place banner ads at nonprofit publications and websites. c) Other marketing.

Besides several years of marketing experience, the only other requirements are that you are organized, pay attention to detail and are good at communicating.

If you're interested in volunteering, please contact us through the VolunteerMatch website or email us at volunteer@dailysource.org and let us know:

    * How many hours per week can you do on average? It's ok to do more than average some weeks and less other weeks)? And for how many months? We tend to give preference to people who can do more months and or hours.

    * A description of your past work/volunteer experience and education, or a resume or a link to a LinkedIn profile.

You can also apply directly through this website by clicking the button for that, and giving us the same information. Sometimes emails sent through this volunteer website are routed to spam folders, so we recommend you check your spam folder during the coming 1 to 2 weeks in case our reply to you ends up there.

If you want to get a sense of what we're doing, here are some of our websites that are live, in beta or in initial development. They fall into three broad groups:

    1) a group of innovative websites to provide other nonprofits (and their supporters) with unique tools they can use to raise money for their causes. This link below gives an overview: click the "See More" buttons at the end of the sections. In the future, each logo will go to a unique website focused on that fundraising tool. About half of the logos are already linked to sites that are either done or in progress:

    A few examples are:

    Volunteerathon - https://volunteerathon.org
    Ride For Good - https://rideforgood.org
    Quitathon - https://quitathon.org

This is a sample of how a person's fundraising page looks - the format is the same at most sites, but each has a unique logo, activity and color scheme:

We've imported the entire IRS database of 1 million nonprofits to our website, so all 1 million nonprofits will automatically have pages at all of the fundraising websites. E.g. -

We're also creating these tools to give people fundraising opportunities every season and holiday of the year: http://calendarforgood.org/

    2) New projects to fight global poverty, slavery and climate change. You can see the logos of many of them at these links. In the future clicking on each logo will go to a unique website:

    http://fortheearth.org/

There are other climate change websites we're creating and the best ones are not up there yet.

    http://fortheslaves.org/

One of the anti-slavery websites is a modern-day equivalent of the Underground Railroad. You can see the video we made for it and a draft of the website here - when we launch, it will be at .org -

    http://virtualrailroad.info

    3) an existing website that provides news related to making the world a better place covering various topics including nonprofits, human rights, extreme poverty, climate change, giving and volunteering: http://DailySource.org. This site has existed for over 14 years.

We look forward to doing great work together to make the world better with you.
