    Description

    Board Member Candidate  for Break The Silence Against Domestic Violence

    Role Description: As a BTSADV Board Member Candidate, you will volunteer and contribute to the orgazation's mission while gaining further experience in nonprofit governance. The role serves as pathway towards potentially becoming a full board member.

    Key Responbilites :

    • Attend montly boarding meetings on thrid Sunday to obeserve and participate in discussions and decision -making, as approiate.
    • Assist with leadership and governance activites by contributing ideas and supporting stratiges under guidance of board members
    • Serve as an adovcate for BTSADV's by promoting the orgazation's mission and programs to external audiences
    • Help with fundraising efforts, support organizational events, and contribute to campaigns
    • Assit in monitroing the non profits fiscal responibilites with oversight form current board memebers, ensuring ethical and responible finanical management.

    Requirements

    • Must have previous board exprerince or experince leading a committee
    • Commitment to BTSADV'S mission of ending Domestic Violence
    • Volunteer 5-10 hrs per week
    • Must be out of Domestic Violence Realtionship for a year
    • Attend Quaterly Board Meeting as needed
    • Attend montly all team meeting last Tuesday of Every month

    Skill and Qualifications

    • Strong leadership, organzational, and communication skills
    • Experince in nonprofit management and governance
    • Financial literacy and the ablility to contribute to budgetary and strategic discussions
    • Passion for domestic violence prevention and adovacy
