    19th Annual NC Hot Sauce Contest and Festival

    Sign up to become a volunteer for the 19th Annual NC Hot Sauce Contest & Festival!

    Sign up to become a volunteer and we will be in touch on duties and a volunteer orientation where you'll learn all about your assignment! PLUS you'll receive a free Hot Sauce Volunteer T-Shirt AND be entered to win a 2025 NC Hot Sauce Contest & Festival Gift Basket!

    Responsibilities:

    • GREEN TEAM: RECYCLE AND TRASH - Responsibilities will include collecting trash and recycling and taking it to the garbage cans. Gloves will be provided.
    • STREET AMBASSADOR: Will help by answering questions on the street during the event. Maps and signs will be available for help. May hand out maps and other information as needed.
    • SPONSOR/VENDOR ATTENDANT: Checking with Sponsors to see if they need a break, have any questions and/or concerns. If so, please find the event coordinator.
    • HOSPITALITY ATTENDANT: Keeping the tables wiped down and cleaned during the event.
    • INFORMATION BOOTH ATTENDANT: Answer questions, sign volunteers in and give assignments, help with volunteer hour tracking sheets.
    • LOAD IN/SET-UP/UNLOAD ASSISTANT: Help direct vendor traffic. Help vendors unload vehicles prior to the event.
    • SURVEY TAKER: Ask a set of questions to the public and record answers.
    • LOAD OUT/BREAK DOWN ASSISTANT: Help with the breakdown and directing traffic at the conclusion of the event.
    • OTHER ASSISTANCE NEEDED.
