    Description

    As a fundraising volunteer you will be responsible for developing and implementing all donor and financial support, donor relations, major gifts, grant support, prospect research, capital and expansion programs, endowment, planned giving, and the planning and supervision of special fundraising events in collaboration with the CEO and board.

    As such you are are responsible for:

    • Working with our grants team and other members of the TPOP team to develop grant proposals and submitting reports to funders, foundations, and corporations.
    • Analyzing and developing potential donors, including soliciting and cultivating strategic donors.
    • Developing and directing all fundraising activities associated with benefit events, funding drives, personal solicitations, and directing mail campaigns, as well as other development activities including individual membership, corporate sponsorship, and planned giving for TPOP.
    • Making presentations to current and prospective donors, community leaders, media, and corporate representatives.
    • Developing, maintaining, and updating a philanthropic database.
    • Managing donor records and generating reports as needed.
