    Seeking Administrative Assistant for Global-Sustainability Organization

    One Community is a nonprofit all-volunteer sustainability think tank. Our volunteer team fluctuates between 100-200 team members and has included over 1300 volunteers. We create open source sustainability-focused components covering food, energy, housing, education, and more.     We are seeking three additional administrative assistants to join our administrative team and help managing production of our weekly progress updates, assist with work review and organization, data entry, supplemental research, and other day-to-day virtual environment tasks helping manage our global team.     POSITION REQUIREMENTS

    • MUST BE IN A US TIMEZONE
    • Minimum 20 hours a week to volunteer
    • 3-5 hours of this availability is needed on Sundays
    • Minimum of 3 months availability
    • Must have excellent internet connection
    • Exceptional attention to detail
    • Solid writing and editing skills
    • Excellent people skills, communication and accountability
    • Excellent organization and time management skills
    • Web design experience and/or a desire to learn basic web design, editing, and search engine optimization

    Our weekly progress updates are organized and produced on Sunday for Monday review and publication. Because of this, about 3-5 hours of this volunteer time will need to happen before 8 PM (Pacific Time) on Sundays. The rest of the 20-hour total will be completed with followups additional One Community adminstrative tasks throughout the week.

    • Basic web design and SEO skills using Wordpress
