    Description

    Volunteer with L.A. Family Housing and donate candy to fill the trick-or-treat bag of children experiencing poverty.

    Why: Your contributions will help ensure that children from families transitioning from homelessness can enjoy a delightful trick-or-treating experience at our sites. Make their Halloween extra sweet by participating in this heartwarming opportunity.

    Who: L.A. Family Housing works to help families transition out of homelessness and poverty through a continuum of housing enriched with supportive services. In total LAFH owns and operates 21 properties, including three homeless shelters and 18 permanent rental properties, all in order to serve over 100,000 people since its inception.

    What to Expect:

    Volunteers will donate bag(s) of individually wrapped candy.

    Coordination with L.A. Family Housing staff for voluteer drop off time and quantity of candy bags.

    What's Required:

    Candy must be individually wrapped.

    Limit is 8 pounds per person.

    Candy bags must be sealed and not opened.

    Must be able to deliver candy bags to our LAFH office during selected hours of operation. We will not be able to pick up donations.

    Before you drop off candy bags, please email the Opportunity Coordinatorto confirm the date and time of your drop-off and the quantity of candy bags being delivered. Below are acceptable days and times to schedule a delivery to LAFH.

    TIMES OF DELIVERY: Monday-Thursday from 3:00 PM-5:00 PM
