The Seagoville Animal Shelter is the only municipal animal shelter in the State of Texas with a live release rate of over 96%! That is thanks to volunteers who help our animals get adopted by raising money for spays, neuters, vaccines and microchips and taking the animals to off-site adoption events at places like Petco, Tractor Supply and many others. Our volunteers walk, bathe, train, photograph, video and network our shelter pets to give them the best possible chance at finding their new family. We are always looking for new volunteers who want to make a difference in the life of a shelter pet. No experience is necessary but this will be the experience of a lifetime and something you can carry with you the rest of your life.
