    Description

The Bridge Teen Center is looking for volunteers to help with our after school tutoring program. We provide free after school homework help and tutoring to students in grades 7 to 12 in a variety of subjects including English, Math, Science, History and Languages.

As a tutor at The Bridge, you will provide academic assistance to students who have scheduled a tutoring session. Based on your preferred subject and availability you will be assigned to students on an on-call basis.

A student could come in needing help with homework; or they might need help understanding a tricky concept before a huge test. As a Bridge Tutor it is your main responsibility to help the student with their questions so that they have full understanding of the subject and questions at hand. As always, it's important to be able to communicate and interact with the students in order to provide the best working dynamic.
