We offer placements across San Diego, at our hospitals in San Marcos and San Diego to our outpatient clinics in North, South and East County.

As a volunteer, you will support our members and staff by providing information, directions, wayfinding, and wheelchair assistance in both hospital and medical office settings.

We are currenlty accepting applicants 16 and over.

  We offer placements across San Diego, from our newest hospital in San Marcos to outpatient clinics in Otay Mesa and beyond.

  As a volunteer, you will support our members and staff by providing information, directions, wayfinding, and wheelchair assistance in both hospital and medical office settings.

  Roles include:

  • Member Experience Volunteer: Assist with patient deliveries and discharges.
  • Nursing Units & Emergency Department: Bring care and compassion to our patients during their stay.
  • Surgery Waiting: Keep families up to date as their loved ones are in surgery.
  • Pet Therapy: Are you a certified pet therapy team? Join us!
  • Harmony for Health: Provide soothing sounds to our patients and visitors
  • Peer Mentors: by referral only
