    Bea Taylor Market Assistants - Saturday Shifts

    The Bea Taylor Market is the second largest neighborhood food pantry among all Freestore Foodbank member agencies. It is a choice food pantry offering clients foods of their choice according to family composition, nutritional needs, cooking availability, and tastes. Client choices are augmented by fresh produce, pre-selected meals, and personal hygiene products. Homeless clients receive special boxes with foods that can be consumed without heating.

    Volunteer Task: Volunteers will stock shelves, assist customers during their shopping experience, staff the check-in and checkout counters, assist customers to their vehicle with their groceries and load into the vehicle, and perform simple maintenance activities to keep the market clean and customer friendly.

    • All volunteers Must be registered before entering the building for a volunteer shift.

    3 shifts available:

    • 09:00 to 11:00 EST
    • Tuesdays, Wednesdays & Thursdays: 10:30 to 13:00 EST
    • Tuesdays, Wednesdays & Thursdays: 12:30 to 15:00 EST
