Calling all Veterans! You have brothers and sisters that have served in the military that need your help. You didn't leave your military brothers and sisters on the battlefield, don't leave them now as they navigate their way home. As you know Veterans are a unique group of individuals with some unique needs. They have a language and experiences all their own, that only another Veteran will understand. Many of your brothers and sisters need to be heard in their final days, whether it is to unburden or they just need someone to listen to their story.

We have many ways for you to volunteer through our We Honor Veterans program. You can have direct patient contact (no hands on care), you can participate in our pinning ceremonies, participate in Veteran events in the community or help educate our staff and community about Veteran issues.

A portion of your life has been about service to your country and if you would like to continue to serve your community, this is a great way to do just that. Please consider volunteering with UT Hospice, and help us help your veteran brothers and sisters.
