Volunteer opportunities are open to residents of Monterey County and surrounding areas who are age 15+. Volunteers will be oriented to our safety procedures and asked to sign a participant liability waiver at the beginning of their first shift. For those under 18, parents must complete a liability waiver. We kindly ask volunteers not to attend shifts if they are experiencing symptoms of Covid-19 (and any variants) or have been in close contact with anyone with Covid-19.

Every year, MEarth Day honors Earth and community — serving as a catalyst to reinforce the value of scientific inquiry, as well as a celebration of social, cultural, and environmental resilience and a joyful sharing of solutions to create a more sustainable future. We love celebrating with our amazing community every year and we are deeply grateful to the many vendors, exhibitors, chefs, donors, and dedicated volunteers who make this event possible!
