    Description

    The Associate Director of Recruitment is responsible for supporting the Director of Recruitment in developing and executing strategic talent acquisition initiatives to attract top talent for Yuvoice. This role involves overseeing recruitment processes, implementing best practices, and fostering strong partnerships to enhance the organization’s talent pipeline. The Associate Director will collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure a seamless recruitment process and an excellent candidate experience.

    Core Responsibilities:

    Strategic Talent Acquisition:

    • Assist the Director of Recruitment in developing and implementing recruitment strategies to attract top talent.

    • Identify sourcing channels, including job boards, social media, networking events, and professional organizations, to maximize outreach.

    • Monitor and analyze recruitment trends, recommending innovative solutions to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

    Candidate Sourcing & Selection:

    • Oversee the entire recruitment lifecycle, including job postings, application screening, interviewing, and offer coordination.

    • Review and shortlist applications, ensuring candidates meet role-specific qualifications and organizational fit.

    • Conduct initial interviews and coordinate with the Director of Recruitment and hiring managers for subsequent interview rounds.

    • Develop and maintain a talent pipeline for current and future recruitment needs.

    Employer Branding & Candidate Experience:

    • Promote Yuvoice’s mission and opportunities across digital channels, career fairs, and networking events.

    • Implement and maintain best practices for candidate communication and engagement.

    • Ensure a seamless and positive candidate experience from application to onboarding.

    Stakeholder & Team Collaboration:

    • Partner with hiring managers to understand talent requirements and create effective recruitment plans.

    • Provide guidance and training to volunteer recruiters, ensuring alignment with best hiring practices.

    • Support the development of an inclusive hiring framework to attract diverse talent.

    Key Skills and Qualifications:

    • Proven experience in recruitment, talent acquisition, or HR leadership, preferably in nonprofit, social impact, or volunteer-driven organizations.

    • Strong knowledge of talent sourcing techniques, recruitment marketing, and employer branding strategies.

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders.

    • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute data-driven recruitment strategies.

    • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple hiring processes simultaneously.

    Commitment & Expectations
    • This is a volunteer position with an expected commitment of 10-15 hours per week.

    • Flexibility to participate in virtual meetings and coordinate interviews as needed.
