    Description

    Deliver hot lunches and cold suppers weekdays at lunchtime to the elderly and shut-ins in the Gaithersburg area. Meals are prepared at the Benjamin Gaither Center, 80-A Bureau Dr. and picked up by drivers between 10:30 and 11:15, Monday-Friday. Containers are provided for carrying the meals, and delivery takes about one hour, with 8 to 12 clients on each route. Volunteers are asked to drive roughly once every other week. Children are welcome to accompany parents. Training is provided.
