    Description

Boo at the Zoo - tabling at LA Zoo Festival

Celebrate Halloween with us by tabling at the LA Zoo during Boo at the Zoo. We will be there the last two weekends in October, so there are plenty of opportunities to join the fun!

The L.A. Zoo’s annual Boo at the Zoo Halloween celebration includes spooky decor and up-close-and-personal interactions with some of the zoo’s creepiest crawlers. We will be part of the storytelling, education stations, photo ops and more, that make this event a visitor favorite. The animals typically get in on the Halloween action, too, with pumpkin feedings scheduled a couple times a day.

All you need is an interest in CA condors and a willingness to talk to visitors about this iconic species. You will be working with other volunteers who will provide 'on the job' training. We will also email you a Volunteer Handbook (PDF) to browse before hand.
