Spanish Speaking Volunteer Academic Mentors needed for 25/26 School Year in Boston Public Schools!

Interested in working with a BPS student this year? Do you speak Spanish and have academic skills you'd like to share with students? Join the Boston Partners in Education community and become an academic mentor to a BPS student!

    What do academic mentors do?

Typically, academic mentors work one-on-one or with a small group of 2-4 students for one hour per-week during the school day over the course of the school year. Select opportunities are also available to work with students online, after school, or on weekends. Student/volunteer matches are made based on your preferences of location, schedule, subject, and grade level.

With guidance from a classroom teacher, academic mentors provide students with additional academic and social-emotional support to help them thrive in the classroom and beyond. Opportunities are available in all grades (pre K-12) and all subject areas.
