    Description

    Kitten and Puppy fosters needed!

Friends of Upland Animal Shelter is a non-profit organization that is partnered with the City of Upland Animal Services to manage shelter operations and adoptions. There is a year round need for volunteers to help foster kittens and puppies. All types of kittens enter the shelter...newborn kittens, kittens who are older and can eat on their own, kittens with mothers who are nursing them, and expectant mothers ready to give birth. We also occasionally get underage puppies and puppies with mothers who are nursing them.

Fostering is a temporary, short-term commitment...only until the kittens or puppies are old enough to be spayed/neutered and put up for adoption. It can involve bottle-feeding the little ones or just socializing and caring for the ones that have already been weaned. Fostering is done in your home; we supply the animals and food, you supply the love and care!

For more information about fostering kittens and puppies, please visit our Foster web page at https://www.friendsofuplandanimalshelter.org/Foster and consider filling out our online Foster application at https://friendsofuplandanimalshelter.org/Foster-Application.

We need caring, responsible adults interested in the rewarding experience of helping a kitten or puppy transition from homeless into a warm, forever home.
