Food Pantry Volunteer Opportunity

Help out Harbor Interfaith in our Food Pantry.

The HIS Food Pantry provides emergency food kits for our over 600 consumers. We are looking for dedicated volunteers who are looking to help make an impact in our community.

Duties include

-Receiving donations and shipments

-Organize the Food Pantry and restock shelves

-Check expiration dates on canned goods

-Create emergency food kits.

-Distribute emergency food kits to consumers.

Harbor Interfaith Services is a non-profit organization serving the Harbor Area and South Bay communities of Los Angeles, California including San Pedro, Harbor City, Harbor Gateway, Lomita, Torrance, Wilmington, Redondo Beach, and Long Beach.

• While not required, we do accept donations of gently used clothing, medical supplies, hygiene supplies, and shelf stable foods.
