    Community Advocacy - Internship Remote or In-Person

    The Arab American Civic Organization provides critical resources to serve the diverse needs our community. Our services address issues including: poverty, unemployment, hunger, sexual abuse, and domestic violence.

    As we continue to improve and expand our services we are looking for volunteers with a full range of skills to support day-to-day operations in our Northern New Jersey office location. In addition, we are also looking for volunteers to assist in fundraising and event planning which will not always require working within our office.

    Steps on becoming an intern or volunteer:

    2. Follow WAFAA on all of our social media

    3. Link your Amazon account to WAFAA through Amazon Smile (see our FB page and search "amazon" if instructions/walk-through needed)

    4. Send a short video introducing yourself and talking about why you want to work with us and any relevant information via email wafaa@wafaaorganization.org please call 973-766-2406 after you send your email

    5. Send us a resume to our email

    Please Note: The Internship could be paid or unpaid. Depending on your experience, Other determinants include the major, Semester and if one qualifies with any of our programs. Please see the link below as one of ways of qualifying for paid internships

    Other qualifications for the paid internships is if one is a senior citizen.We also have paid internships through our programs.
