Description
360 Eats Volunteer
3100 Teal Terrace, Tampa FL 34695
Purpose of the Position: 360 Eats is a partner nonprofit based in Tampa, which reshapes the food system with an innovative "360-degree" solution. The programs include a mobile food rescue service, a mobile gourmet soup kitchen, and compost and community food garden. The volunteer opportunities are broken down into five different categories.
Time Commitment: Multiple shifts available.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Receiving and loading rescued Food into the Food Rescue van.
- Weighing the Food.
- Packing Food into the storage facility.
Training: N/A
Qualifications:
- Be at least 55 years old.
- May be asked to be on their feet for two hours at a time.
- Although volunteers can opt-out of jobs that they do not feel physically capable of performing, some lifting may be required.
