    Description

    Gotham Food Pantry:

Drivers and cargo bike riders are the backbone of Gotham's food rescue operations, helping to transport surplus food donations from local businesses, farms, and supermarkets to distribution sites.

Volunteers in this role must have access to a car, van, or cargo bike and be able to lift medium-sized loads of fresh produce and non-perishables. Regular routes are available during weekdays, with shifts ranging from 2-6 hours, and weekend shifts as needed for special events. Reliability, punctuality, and a commitment to food safety practices are essential. This role is critical in ensuring timely and consistent food deliveries to underserved communities.

Drivers are needed in Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, and the Bronx.
