    Description

    Blood Drive Volunteers Needed for Weekday Shifts  (Mecklenburg County)

    The Red Cross needs the help of volunteers to support blood collections across the country.

    Blood Donor Ambassador volunteers are critically important to creating and ensuring an overall positive donation experience at Red Cross blood drives (mobile drives and fixed sites). Blood Donor Ambassadors greet donors, answer questions, and help in our canteen/snack area.

    This position is ongoing - volunteers can use our scheduling app to identify mobile or fixed-site blood drives with volunteer needs and sign up as best fits their schedule.

    Time Commitment: 6 hours per month (1-2 shifts).

    Qualifications

    • Must be at least 16 years old
    • Ability to display the utmost professionalism and communication skills.
    • Extremely comfortable working with people from diverse communities and backgrounds.
