    Description

Become an Area Coordinator: Lead with purpose. Build community. Drive change.

Amnesty International USA’s Area Coordinator (ACs) role is perfect for early-career and seasoned leaders interested in supporting human rights activism across their state or region. In this volunteer role, you’ll work with Amnesty local groups and individual members, helping them organize events, stay connected, and grow their impact.

Being an AC means building relationships, sharing resources, and amplifying grassroots advocacy. It’s also a unique leadership development opportunity—where you’ll have a say in the direction of the organization and collaborate with other committed activist leaders across the country.

Bring your skills, your voice, and your passion for justice—and help lead the movement for human rights.

Please note, this volunteer role is state-specific and will involve some statewide and regional travel. However, the majority of the work can be completed virtually, and you do not need to live in the zip code specified to be considered for the role.
