    URGENT: Volunteers Needed for Our Latino Communities in Brandon & Gibsonton

    The Hispanic Services Council Volunteer Program is looking to recruit volunteers to assist in our Network of Active Parents program. We are serving families with children from ages 3-13 years residing in Hillsborough County. If you have an interest in serving with Latinos and make a difference, please contact the Volunteer Resources Liaison for more information email at maria.garavito@hispanicservicescouncil.org . We want to hear from you!

    This volunteer opportunity is for in person assistance in our Brandon Community center.

    Volunteer opportunities are available in the areas of, but not limited to:

    La Red de Padres Activos in Brandon

      • Children: Help with homework & enrichment programs
      • Coordinators: With events/activities, set up/clean up, divide food, & outreach

    Great opportunity for Middle and High School students seeking to earn community hours!

    2 shifts available:

    • Volunteers needed on Monday's (BOTH LOCATIONS) to help with Set up, Dividing Food, Do activities with Kids ages Pre-K - 8, & Clean up: 17:30 to 20:30 EST
    • Volunteers needed on Tuesdays (BRANDON) & Thursdays (GIBSONTON) to help with Set up, Dividing Food, Do activities with Kids ages Pre-K - 8, & Clean up: 17:30 to 20:30 EST
